Following the success of its free locksmith training sessions last year, Codelocks, a leading manufacturer of standalone access control products, has announced new training dates for 2013.
The free training sessions are designed for locksmiths who want to refresh their technical knowledge of digital door and cabinet locks, and will take place between March and June 2013. The training will be held at Codelocks HQ in Newbury, with further training sessions planned in the North and South West of England.
Last year, every one of our training sessions was oversubscribed, so due to popular demand we are repeating the training sessions again in 2013 and adding some regional locations. From the feedback we received, the popularity can be accredited to the hands-on nature of the course. 100% of the locksmiths who attended the training agreed they had benefitted from the practical experience and knowledge they gained.
Here is what some locksmiths said about Codelocks’ training sessions last year:
“The training was comprehensive and detailed, showing a number of extra product features I was unaware of or how to use.”
“A very informative training course and vital to any locksmith unfamiliar with Codelocks products.”
“It was excellent, I got all the information I needed.”
Codelocks training will take place on March 6th, 20th, April 3rd, May 8th, 22nd and June 5th. Regional training will take place on April 24th in the North and June 26th in the South West.
Morning sessions start at 10:30am and finish at 1pm, while afternoon sessions start at 2pm and finish at 4:30pm. Both sessions include a buffet lunch.

Codelocks designs and manufactures a range of digital keyless door and cabinet locks for organisations that need to control access within their buildings. The locks save time and money by being easy to fit and easy to programme. Unlike other solutions, digital push button locks don’t require complex wiring, ID cards or external power, and are more cost effective for many applications. The locks offer the user a convenient standalone solution and are sold with ‘everything you need in the box’ to fit them, including parts, instructions and templates.
