Returns and Repairs


We hope that you will be delighted with your order. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied we are happy to offer a refund or replacement on all goods returned to us within 7 working days of receipt, provided the goods are in a saleable condition, and in their original, undamaged packaging. Goods returned after this period will be refunded at our discretion.

You should check to see that all items listed on the despatch note match those contained in your package when you receive it. If they do not please notify us immediately.

Refunds can only be requested by the purchaser and will be made via the original payment method. Our Service Department will need to receive the goods first in A1 saleable condition and in their original, undamaged packaging. We advise using a tracked delivery service to return all items as goods remain your responsibility until received. There is a 30% restocking fee on all returns.

Returns Procedure

Faults caused by misuse, abuse and or poor fitting are not covered by the guarantee.

In the first instance we would advise customers to contact us, as most technical / fitting issues can be resolved this way.

Products will need to be returned to Codelocks Ltd for assessment by Our technical staff. Should the fault with the returned product be due to a manufacturing fault then it will be repaired, serviced or replaced FOC. A service/repair note will be sent back with the product.

Receiving a Refund

Refunds can only be requested by the purchaser and will made by the original payment method within 30 days of the original order date. Our Service Department will need to receive the goods first in a saleable condition and in its original, undamaged packaging.




Most issues relating to Codelock products can be resolved with a quick telephone call or email to our Customer Services team.

If necessary, we can arrange for one of our product specialists to call you back to help you get your lock back up and running.  We offer a full repairs service for all our products. Products still in warranty will be repaired free of charge*. For products out of warranty or where repair is required due to misuse, abuse or poor fitting are charged at $50.00 + Tax (excluding parts) per lock.

A full range of spares is available in the spares section of our website. Orders placed before 13:30 are dispatched same day.


Returning your lock for repair

1. Download, print and complete the returns form

2. Package your lock in a sturdy box with appropriate packaging** - include with details of the issue, your name, address and contact details

3. Send to the address shown on our contact form - we recommend that you send any items via Recorded Delivery or courier. Codelocks cannot be responsible for any items posted and not received.


Codelocks Warranty

Mechanical Locks
Codelocks offer a limited lifetime guarantee, any of our mechanical locks will be repaired, serviced or replaced free of charge if they develop a manufacturing fault.*

Mechanical KitLocks
Codelocks offer a 12 month guarantee on all Mechanical KitLocks.*

Electronic Locks
Codelocks offer a 2 year guarantee on all Electronic Locks.*

** Codelocks cannot be responsible for any damage caused during transportation and recommend that you use suitable packaging such has bubble plastic, corrugated cardboard, etc.
